Mindfulness Retreat Weekend at El-Figueral

Course Size: Min 3 up to Max of 6

Arrival Time : Friday evening from 17.30

Friday

Arrival, exploring the centre, meeting other participants, introductory talk.

We will initiate the weekend with an introduction of the origin of mindfulness and how it can help you to become more self-aware and to understand the tools you can acquire for the reduction of stress and how to increase of assertiveness.

We will then complete an activity called ´´the nut and sultana meditation´´ to guide you towards the journey of self-discovery.

You also be presented with other meditation activities for self-regulation of emotions

 Dinner will be vegetarian and focus on a reflection of mindful eating to continue the journey of self-discovery.

 Lastly before the end of the session will have collective meditation session, ¨´body scan´ ´to practice self-. Awareness

End of first day

Saturday

Before Breakfast everybody individually will choose a meditation to practice learned from the day before.

Breakfast focusing on the food you eat its texture, colours and flavours and emotions you experience as you eat.     

We will continue the session by training to become awareness of the difference between emotions, thoughts, and interpretations.

Individual practice of mindfulness of breathing

The rest of the day will be dedicated to a mindful exploration applying it to different activities, such as:

Wine tasting where we will investigate mindful textures and flavours, experiencing how the flavours and textures blend with the environment.

Mindful walking and cycling you will explore our wonderful forests, become aware of the surrounding, sounds, discover and connect with its secrets. If weather permits experience kayaking through the valley of the Ebro and as you kayak you will be able to observe mindfully and be amazed by the fauna…watch the eagles fly as they touch the mountains.

Mindful dinner and the day will end with feedback of the day and a collective mindful meditation on body awareness

Sunday

Individual meditation follows by mindful breakfast

You all be working on Self-care planning and identifying happiness indicators, afterwards you will complete an individual walking meditation.

Towards the end of the session, we will get together to review what has been learnt in the course, follow by conscious breathing, lastly you will define a goal to achieve in the future.

Lunch will be a vegetarian BBQ to collectively celebrate what you have accomplished from this weekend.

End of the retreat.

Vegetarian meals are provided during the program.

Program Prices

The 3 day Weekend Program cost is €773 and includes Accommodation, Meals, drinks (water, Tea, Coffee and Fruit Juice), activities and Mindfulness program.
